Something that has really helped me is regular using the app Buddhify. Buddhify is a meditation app that guides you through short meditations wherever you are or what you do. For me, as a relatively restless person, this has worked really good. The app has a lot of different meditations categorized after different situations in a day or certain emotional states such as waking up, stress & difficult emotion, going to sleep or can’t sleep. Together with a whole range of different meditations that ranges between 4 and 20 minutes you most often find something.
Buddhify has a guided me through tough periods, nights when I haven’t been able to fall asleep, through sadness and restlessness.
